The project
For this team project, we decided we wanted to tackle burnout syndrome. We developed a brand and a campaign centered around developing awareness about burnout syndrome, providing resources on how to manage the symptoms, and displaying lifestyle changes to help prevent it in the future.

touchpoint journey
We provide the tools and structure to raise awareness about coping and preventing burnout thru touch points which include: a website and discover tips and tricks to prevent burnout or recover from it; our companion app features interactive activates, daily check ins to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle; a pamphlet which contains informational articles about work life balance and self-help tips. Other assets include our social media campaign, a poster campaign, videos, and a self guided journal.

When the user downloads the app they have the opportunity to take the Self-Test Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) during the onboarding process. The MBI measures three dimensions of burnout: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. Afterwards, the user is recommended activities on the home screen and are encouraged to set goals for themselves. The user can easily set or disable push notifications.

From the website users can opt in for a monthly zine. This is perfect for people who prefer non-screen devices to refresh and learn about burnout. Each zine contains educational articles, data visualizations, and guides for lifestyle management.

MERCH & SOCIAL MEDIA
Kindling also offers quarterly care packages for those of us who want to take a break from the digital world. Inside is the kindling self guided journal where we encourage writing activities to process thoughts and emotions, gratitude exercises, places for doodles and daily to-do lists. There is also comfy wearable merch to encourage rest and relaxation and cute stickers for water bottles or journaling!
The social media campaign is a great place to reach new people. There they can be redirected to the website or the app.
